THE HISTORY OF BALINESE
BALI AGA (BALINESE ORIGIN)
Many people supposed that the Balinese came from Java, actually the Balinese
came from Austronesia ethnic located at Tonkin/South of China.The trade
relationship and until now they still used Kepeng money (Coin money which
has hollow inside/Chinese coin). The cultural of tall Barong (Barong Landung)
which is mean the big and black guy and the women her face like a Chinese.

from Java was the follower of Empu, Rsi, and the Arya (all they are Hindu
priest & has high spirituality for the Hindu progress), than later
known as Orang Bali Mula/Bali Asli (Original Balinnese). The name of Bali
Mula (original Balinese) is to differentiate the society who came from
outside Bali and between the society came in advance called Bali Aga people.
The differentiation of Bali Aga & Bali Mula people could know from
the death ceremony, the burial ceremony of the Bali Aga people is burying
while Bali Mula people by cremated (burning the corpse). Now we could differentiate
also by the Sugian ceremony, whenever they done the Sugian Bali it means
that they are descendants of Bali Aga/Asli and if they done the Sugian
Jawa it means that they descendant and came from Java culture. (Sugian
Bali is ceremony done at 6 days before the Galungan day while Sugian Jawa
is the ceremony which done at 5 days before the Galungan day). Bali Aga
follows the Waisnawa sect and the Bali Mula follows the rule of Brahman
sect. In that period they worshiped their ancestors with simple manner
which they called Hyang (holy) according to Purana & Babad (Hindu manuscript).
